MY2010 Porsche 911 Turbo PDK (Singapore Launch)

7 January 2010. Singapore.

Porsche Centre Singapore started the New Year on a high by proudly unveiling the new Porsche 911 Turbo at their Leng Kee showroom last evening, witnessed by over 190 guests.

The new 911 Turbo, the top variant in the 911 range, is expected to set new standards in the
high performance sports car segment yet again as it brings together far-reaching innovations in
technology with meticulous fine tuning and supreme refinements in design. All key features of the
911 Turbo have been significantly improved, resulting in a lighter, faster and more powerful car,
with enhanced driving dynamics and a substantial improvement in fuel efficiency.

The new 911 Turbo promises a unique combination of race-car like performance capabilities and
exceptional fuel economy, setting this top-of-the range 911 from Zuffenhausen apart from its
competitors in a league of its own. This new 911 Turbo was first unveiled to the public at the
Frankfurt Motor Show in September last year, and will be available in the Singapore market from 7
January 2010.

The heart and highlight of the seventh generation of the 911 Turbo is the new power unit displacing
3.8 litres and delivering maximum output of 500 bhp (368 kW). The first entirely new engine in
the 35-year-history of the Turbo comes with features such as Direct Fuel Injection and Porsche’s
exclusive turbocharger with variable turbine geometry on a gasoline power unit. And as an option,
the new six-cylinder engine may be combined for the first time with Porsche’s critically acclaimed
seven-speed PDK Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (Double-Clutch Gearbox).

The new 911 Turbo equipped with PDK also comes with the additional option of a new, threespoke
steering wheel with gearshift paddles as an alternative. The new PDK steering wheel uses
the right paddle for shifting gears up and the left paddle for shifting down, providing owners of the
911 Turbo with an extra option to tailor to their driving preferences. In conjunction with the optional
Sport Chrono Package Turbo, both steering wheels come with integrated displays for
Launch Control and the Sport/Sport Plus mode.

The combination of PDK, Direct Fuel Injection and turbocharging ensures an unprecedented standard
of efficiency, agility, responsiveness and performance. Compared to its predecessor, the
new 911 Turbo reduces its carbon emissions by almost 18 per cent – a rare achievement in the
high performance sports car segment. The car sees improved fuel consumption, using only 11.4
to 11.7 litres of petrol to travel 100km, depending on the car’s configuration. Furthermore, performance
specifications is enhanced, with the new car taking only 3.4 seconds to complete a
century sprint with a top speed of 312km/h.

The new 911 Turbo also comes with improved driving dynamics through the detailed enhancement
of Porsche’s PTM fully controlled all-wheel drive and Porsche Stability Management (PSM). In
addition, the new Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), which is available as a cost option, allows the
911 Turbo to be even more agile and precise in its steering, providing a more emotive and rewarding
drive.

Sales of the new Porsche 911 Turbo in both Coupé and Cabriolet guise begins in Singapore on 7
January 2010. The base price is SGD 638, 888 for the Coupé and SGD 684,888 for the Cabriolet.
Prices are inclusive of a 5-year free maintenance and warranty program, road tax, COE and
GST; prices are subject to change without prior notice.
