As part of the 1931 Alfa Romeo racing team it first competed at the belgian Gran Prix and later rebuilt by Zagato in 1932. It was even sold to Scuderia Ferrari at one time and raced in Mille Miglia 1932-34. It changed hands several times more before ending up in the UK where it currently resides.

Coachbuilder Bertone made this body based on the Super Sport chassis during the WWII years. The designer, Mario Revelli di Beaumont and Bertone built it back in 1942. The chassis was actually recovered from an older 1939 chassis as was the practice then with the shortages of that tumultuous time. This car has just completed its major restoration by its owner in Milan, Italy.

Competizione means this is a real racing car in fact one of three built by Alfa's racing department in 1948. It is the only surviving one of the three. It has taken part in the Mille Miglia and numerous races throughout its existence with many wins under its belt. Its six cylinder engine produces more than 110 bhp in race tune. It is now residing as part of a collection in the USA.

This unique Alfa Romeo was built during WWII when Italy was in dominance and was styled by the great Pinin Farina. The coupe has a three carb, 110 bhp six cylinder engine.Originally registered to an Italian aristocrat, was sold to a collector in the UK and then to one in the uSA and now is back in Italy.
